Prompt Logic™ software gives us the capability to provide the Industry’s first printing calculator with a HELP key and the first printing calculator with an easy-to-read 3-line display. Prompt Logic™ displays are designed to display words and symbols as well as numbers, an innovation in calculations that makes every function easier

The PL8000 features the Industry’s first backlit dot-matrix alphanumeric display. With a touch of a key, HELP messages are displayed on the screen. More detailed HELP can be printed as a gentle reminder of how to use the calculator. Since most people do not have time to read instruction manuals or to learn how to use their calculator’s special keys, HELP messages make the PL8000 user-friendly. The PL8000 also features a super speedy 8.0 lines per second thermal printer which is whisper quiet.

Another first for the PL8000 is its Text Message Capability that allows you to store and print up to six customized messages. The easy-to-use Prompt Logic™ Program Key lets you program TAX 1 and TAX 2, Currency, Time and Date, and Language

The PL3000 features a first of its kind, easy-to-read 3-line liquid crystal display that allows the user to view multiple inputs and results simultaneously. This capability simplifies tax and cost-sell-margin calculations as well as making the Loan Wizard function easy-to-use. For tax problems, the screen shows pre-tax, tax rate, and after-tax amounts at the same time and for loan calculations, the amount, number of months, interest rate and payment are all shown at the same time.
